Eva Sotriffer: Swan (IT)

Eva Sotriffer (I) is a puppeteer, puppet maker and author of her own shows since 2010. She focuses on developing an expressive visual and musical language that manages to communicate without words and reach audiences of all languages and often all ages. "Swan" is following H.C. Andersen's famous story of "The Ugly Duckling", treating with the sensation of feeling out o place, not really fitting in without understanding why, always being a little different from the others .. Not a pleasant thing, especially if you can't do anything about it. It was like that for the little ugly duckling. What had to happen before it finally realised that not only he wasn't ugly but that he wasn't a duckling at all, is what this play tries to tell with all kind of puppets, movement, music and very few words for very young and young-at-heart audiences from 4 years of age.
