ZBor (SI)

ZBor is a collective of musicians who, under the guidance of Bor Zakonjšek, create music based on the improvisation of melodic motifs taken from various ethical cultures. From Afro-Cuban melodies to Balkan influences and jazz-blues traditions. The music of Zbor collective is a variety selection of compositions with interesting improvisational elements. The music also flirts with modern pop hits,but adapted for an instrumental trio. The band includes percussionist and drummer Jože Cesar, and Peter Lebar on electric bass guitar.
